I specialise in clean, efficient and fuss-free websites for a wide range of exacting clients. Like this website - straightforward, effective communication of brand and content.

My name is Neil Gowans, working as g43, and I have been designing websites since the early 90s, with specialisation in websites for iphones to access.

I work closely with my clients - all of which I select; I simply don't have the time to undertake all the design and development demand (this is not my full time job!). A close partnership is formed to ensure the highest quality output that consistently delights my clients.

I provide web and print design services using industry-standard applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and InDesign. I am often asked to design both online and offline materials to ensure brand consistency across all communications with clients' target markets.

Many of my clients come back for a second (or third or fourth) project after working with me on one project.

I enjoy the challenge of developing new approaches to design and avoid 'same-y' results. Every client is different, as are their aims - so creative work done should reflect this. Unashamed focus is given to securing a strong and comprehensive creative brief so that the aesthetics, purpose and impact of the work exceeds client expectations.

I have worked with a broad spectrum of clients, with both small and large budgets. I select which clients I work with and have selected smaller budget projects simply because the project is more interesting and/or challenging.

I have worked with clients from national orchestras to international publishers and from individual musicians to airlines as well as pro bono work.

All of which get service and support of the highest professional standard, which is why most of my clients return to commission new work.
